JANUARY 15-18, 2023

We are thrilled to invite you to join us for LIGHT YOUR WORLD 2023, our 61st annual world missions conference!

This year's conference will be hosted across 3 different congregations: Destiny Church in San Antonio, Destiny Church in Fredericksburg, and Living Waters Church in Seguin.

The bulk of the conference will take place at the Destiny Church San Antonio campus. Then for the Tuesday evening service, we’ll gather at the Destiny Church Fredericksburg campus with Pastor Mike Bell. We’ll finish off the conference with both Wednesday morning and evening sessions taking place at Living Waters in Seguin with Pastor Paul Mason.

Let us gather together to be encouraged and emboldened in our Gospel work, pushing back the forces of darkness, knowing that the gates of hell will not prevail against the One building His Church.

2023 GUEST MINISTRY

Pastor Nobuyoshi Nagai

Our keynote speaker this year is Pastor Nobuyoshi Nagai of Tokyo, Japan. A second generation pastor, he leads a network of churches founded by his father who partnered with John and Ruth Bell during their tour as missionaries to Japan.

ben bufkin

Pastor Ben Bufkin was born in Louisiana, but grew up in multiple states as his family traveled in ministry. He attended Gulf States Bible College as well as Moody Bible Institute.

After meeting his beautiful wife Estelle in 2001 they were married in 2003. Ben and Estelle have four amazing children, Joel, Eliana, Raegan, and Lincoln. Ben served in ministry at Living Word Church as an assistant pastor for 6 years before assuming the senior pastor role in March of 2018. Pastor Ben’s desire for Living Word Church is to see Christ exalted, disciples made, and believers equipped for gospel proclamation.

paul mason

Paul Mason pastors Living Waters Church in Seguin, Texas. Born in Metairie, Lousiana outside of New Orleans he is a graduate of International Bible College in San Antonio. He has served as a pastor for 21 years in Louisiana, Arkansas, and the great state of Texas.

Paul and his wife Brooke have three kids, Joel and Jenna, and Liam.

Jason King

Jason King pastors Faith Bible Chapel in Arvada, Colorado. He graduated from International Bible college in 2002 and has been in full-time ministry ever since. He has ministered in over 17 nations including serving as a missionary in England. He has a passion for the local church both here and around the world.

Jason and his wife Sheryl have two children; Seth and Ellie. Jason has followed God's call on his life as a youth pastor, worship pastor, mission’s pastor, men’s pastor and teaching pastor, each position contributing to his overall understanding of what God has for our church in the day in which we live. It's clear God has gifted Jason in many areas, chiefly preaching the Word of God.

Wayne Thompson

Wayne Thompson is an ordained minister with the Church of God in Christ. He serves as Minister of Music at Pentecostal Temple COGIC in San Marcos, Texas as well as the Transition Coordinator at the Hays County Juvenile Center. In this capacity he has become a mentor to hundreds of young men and women as he helps them receive education and job skills while in juvenile detention.

Having served as both minister of the Gospel and a corrections officer, Wayne brings a unique perspective to many of the cultural challenges we are facing today.

All other ministers, guests, and Destiny Church members, please CLICK HERE to register. Child care will be provided at every session. LIGHT YOUR WORLD is hosted at Destiny Church in the unique and historic cities of San Antonio, Fredericksburg, and Seguin, Texas. Each have their own distinct and multicultural heritages. These serve as a constant reminder that the Gospel is for all people and must go to all nations.
