Micah 4:1-5 gives a vision of Christ establishing His Church and drawing the nations to Himself. The house of the Lord is pictured as a people who learn God’s ways, walk in His paths, and carry His Word into the world.

Christ is building His Church, and He calls His people to take part through faithful worship, obedience, discipleship, and gospel witness. As the gospel advances, it transforms people, families, cultures, and ultimately the nations, bringing the peace and fruitfulness Micah describes.

In this sermon from the "Year of the Bible" series, Pastor Mike unpacks Joel 2:18–27, pointing to God’s power to redeem past devastation and restore what was lost. Believers are called to walk by faith, reject fear, and offer deliberate thanksgiving in every circumstance. Watch and listen as we look to the cross, rejoice in God's faithful provision, and find lasting boldness in the ultimate blessing: His abiding presence with His people.

In Daniel 6, Pastor Mike illustrates how Daniel’s consistent, proven devotion led him to openly obey and pray to God despite immense cultural pressure and the deadly decree of the lions' den. God miraculously shut the lions' mouths to preserve Daniel, turning his steadfast witness into an occasion for King Darius and the empire to give glory to the living God. Ultimately, the sermon connects Daniel's deliverance to the greater victory of Jesus Christ, calling believers to remain boldly faithful and anchored in God's unchanging truth, regardless of the cost.

Preaching from Ezekiel 34, Pastor Mike highlights God’s strong rebuke of Israel’s selfish, negligent leaders who exploited rather than cared for His flock. In contrast to these failed shepherds, God promises to personally seek, heal, and rescue His scattered sheep, a redemptive covenant ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ as the true Good Shepherd. Consequently, believers are urged to emulate Christ by faithfully, selflessly shepherding and serving those entrusted to their care.
