Annual Missions Conference
JANUARY 19-22, 2025
We are thrilled to invite you to our 63rd annual world missions conference!
Christ is the ruler of the kings of the earth (Rev. 1:5). He is building His kingdom all over the world today. He is gathering a people for Himself from every nation, tribe, and tongue. The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ (Rev. 11:15). He has commissioned us to proclaim His gospel and disciple the nations.
The theme for this year's conference is GOSPEL CULTURE. As we involve ourselves in Great Commission work, discipling and teaching people to obey Christ, a unique culture is created. This “gospel culture” is not to be confined to a person’s private life. Christ’s Lordship must be brought to bear on every area of life. Only when that happens does true gospel transformation take place. The sessions this year are designed to help us apply the gospel, and extend it’s culture, as far as the curse is found.
Gather with us as we celebrate our risen Lord and the work He is doing in us and through us in the nations.
2025 GUEST MINISTRY
We are overjoyed to announce that this year’s conference will be in partnership with The Ezra Institute (http://ezrainstitute.com).
The Ezra Institute was founded in 2009 by Joe Boot as an evangelical think-tank and worldview training organization, after years of traveling globally in the work of Christian apologetics and undertaking significant research in the areas of cultural and mission theology and philosophy.
Observing that opposition and objection against the Christian faith were increasingly being framed in cultural, civilizational and political terms, the Ezra Institute was envisioned as a biblical response to a deep crisis in Western culture that had decisively impacted the church; a crisis rooted in the widespread loss of a comprehensive gospel, a distinctly scriptural worldview, and ultimately a failure to recognize the religious root of all human life and thought – from education and law, to politics, medicine, art and science. The ministry of The Ezra Institute is for the constructive recovery of a full-orbed gospel and cultural apologetic capable of confronting systematic unbelief with systematic belief in every sphere of life.
Dr. Joe Boot
Rev. Dr. Joseph Boot (M.A., Ph.D.) is a Christian thinker and cultural apologist, Founder and President of the Ezra Institute for Contemporary Christianity. He is adjunct instructor for culture and apologetics at Bryan College, Tennessee. He also served as founding pastor of Westminster Chapel, Toronto for 14 years.
Now resident home in Great Britain, Joseph has worked in the fields of Christian apologetics, worldview education and church leadership for over twenty-five years on both sides of the Atlantic. He has spoken and guest lectured globally at numerous university events, seminaries, churches, colleges, and conferences. He regularly addresses pastors and Christian leaders as well as academic, medical, legal, and political professionals and has publicly debated leading atheistic thinkers and philosophers in Canada and the United States.
Joseph did his undergraduate studies in Theology (Birmingham Christian College, U.K), earned his Master’s degree in Mission Theology with a dissertation focused on Christian cultural philosophy and apologetics (University of Manchester U.K), and holds a PhD in Christian Intellectual Thought (Whitefield Theological Seminary, Florida, USA). Joe’s apologetic works include Searching for Truth (Crossway), Why I Still Believe (Baker), and How Then Shall We Answer (New Wine). His most noted contributions to Christian thought are systematic works of Christian cultural apologetics and philosophy elucidating the biblical worldview as it relates to the Christian’s calling in the world, including The Mission of God (Wilberforce Publications/Ezra Press) and his latest work, Ruler of Kings (Wilberforce Publications). Other recent volumes developing a cultural apologetic include, Gospel Culture and Gospel Witness (Ezra Press) which serve as an introduction to a scriptural worldview and a Christian philosophy of culture.
Joe is a Senior Fellow for the cultural and apologetics think-tank truthXchange in Southern California; is Senior Fellow of cultural philosophy for the California-based Center for Cultural Leadership; and is senior Fellow for Wilberforce Academy and public theology at Christian Concern in London, UK. In 2011 he was recognized by Toronto’s Centre for Mentorship and Theological Reflection as ‘Best Preacher Apologist’ for his contribution to apologetic and expository preaching.
