Isaiah's Vision of God
Mike Bell
Isaiah 6:1–13 gives a powerful picture of what happens when a sinner encounters the holiness of God. Isaiah sees the Lord exalted upon His throne, becomes painfully aware of his own sin, receives cleansing from God, and is then called to proclaim His Word. Pastor Mike traces this progression through revelation, conviction, cleansing, and commission, showing how God prepares His people for faithful service.
Pastor Mike also emphasizes perseverance and God’s preservation of His people. Isaiah is called to preach even though many will reject his message, reminding Christians that faithfulness to God’s Word, not popularity or immediate results, is the measure of faithful ministry. The passage ultimately directs our confidence to the reigning Christ, who cleanses His people, sends them into His service, and faithfully preserves His Church.
