WHAT TO EXPECT

Here’s an overview of what you can expect when you attend a worship service at Christ Is King Church:

Welcome: You will be greeted with a smile by our hospitality team.

Service: We'll gather for worship together in the Worship Center. Each service lasts about 90 minutes.

Music: We sing a mix of original songs, contemporary songs, and classic hymns, all of which exalt and magnify Christ. We don’t have flashing lights or smoke, we don’t even dim the lights while we sing. However, we do have a congregation that loves to lift high the name of Jesus through song.

Communion: We observe The Lord’s Table each Sunday. It is essential to remember Christ’s death for us every time we gather.

Sermon: We love the Bible! Our sermons are anchored in the truth of God’s Eternal Word. If you are looking for a twenty minute Ted Talk with a verse thrown on top, this isn’t the church for you. If you want to hear God’s Word preached with clarity and conviction, join us.

Kids and Students: Everyone is welcome to attend the service! Kids (3 months - 11 years) can also attend Kids for Christ while you attend the service. The youth will remain in service with the adults.
On the first Sunday of every month, the kids remain in service with the adults. We do keep the nursery open.
