Praying in Trials

Psalm 3 shows David turning to God in the middle of fear, betrayal, and the painful consequences of his own sin. Rather than hiding his trouble, David brings it honestly before the Lord and begins to shift his focus from the size of his problem to the greatness of his God.
Pastor Mike gives a simple pattern for praying through trials: bring it to God, look to God, rest in God, and trust in God. Even when circumstances have not changed, prayer reminds us that God is our shield, our sustainer, and the One to whom salvation belongs.
