Worship the Reigning King

Psalm 96 calls God's people to worship the Lord because He alone is worthy of all praise. In this sermon, we explore why true worship is rooted in God's character, His saving work, and His sovereign rule over all creation. As the psalm declares God's greatness above every false god, believers are challenged to joyfully proclaim His salvation, reject every idol, and give Him the glory that is due His name.
This sermon also highlights Christ's reign over every nation and every area of life. Worship is more than singing. It is a life of obedience, holiness, and joyful submission to the King. As God's people gather to worship, declare His glory among the nations, and live as living sacrifices, they bear witness to the truth that Jesus Christ reigns now and will one day be openly acknowledged by every knee and every tongue.
