What You Can Expect

At Christ Is King Church, our worship is simple, reverent, and centered on Christ. We are not trying to entertain you or put on a performance. We gather to worship God, hear His Word preached, and remember what Christ has done for sinners.

If you are looking for a church that takes the Bible seriously, worships with sincerity, and welcomes families, we would be glad to have you with us.

At our Good Friday & Easter gatherings, you can expect:

  • Biblical preaching

  • Joyful, reverent worship

Good Friday Service (7 PM)

On Good Friday, we will gather to reflect on the cross of Christ and remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for our sin.

This service will include communion.

Good Friday is a solemn and meaningful time to consider what Christ has done for us in His suffering and death.

Easter Sunday Service (10 AM)

On Easter Sunday, we will gather to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Following the service, we will also rejoice to witness baptisms.

Easter Sunday is a joyful and glorious time to celebrate what Christ has done for us in His resurrection and victory over sin and death.

For Families

This year, Easter falls on the first Sunday of the month. That means that our children will be joining us in the main service for a family-integrated worship service.

We will have nursery through preschool available for younger children.

If You’ve Been Away From Church

Perhaps it has been a long time since you last attended church. Maybe life has become busy. Maybe it has become heavy. Maybe you know you have drifted.

Easter is a fitting time to come back.

You do not need to have everything together before you come. You are welcome to come, sit under the preaching of God’s Word, and be reminded that there is real hope in Jesus Christ.
